Upon the completion of this survey and its analysis, it is clear that there are areas open for improvement and the need to expand points of interest. To improve analysis there are a few suggestions:
a. An email survey generally has a good response rate after sending twice. Problems were encountered when sending the survey as the body, so it is best to use an attachment.
b. Participants that have participated in more than one off-campus program should fill out more than one survey as to better separate their ratings.
c. To better understand how students improve during the program, analysis of self-attributes, GPA, and happiness should be recorded before and after the program.
d. Evaluations by major might help assess the importance of off-campus programs to certain fields of study and improve those departments in experiential learning.
e. More ratings should be included for non-participants to serve as a control for the views of the student body on expectations for themselves and programs.
